Purpose
This page summarizes how Matchn approaches child safety and the prevention of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), consistent with our public Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with those documents, the Terms and Privacy Policy control.
Minimum age and children’s privacy
As stated in our Privacy Policy and Terms, Matchn is not intended for children under 13 (or a higher minimum age where local law requires). We do not knowingly allow underage accounts. If we discover underage personal information was collected in violation of law, we will take appropriate remedial steps, including removal, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Prohibited content and conduct
Under our Terms of Service, you must not upload or share content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, infringing, misleading, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful, and you must not post illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or exploitative content. Harassment, threats, abuse, stalking, and discrimination against other users are prohibited.
Reporting
Our Terms describe that users may rate other users and report abusive content or accounts, and that abuse and content reports are processed as described in our Privacy Policy (including the nature of report data we may collect, such as target, reason, and optional description). Moderation and enforcement
As stated in our Terms, we may review, remove, restrict, or moderate content and accounts when we believe it is necessary to protect users, enforce the Terms, comply with law, prevent abuse, or maintain the integrity of the Services. We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, restrict features, or take other appropriate action for violations.
Our Privacy Policy explains that we use personal information to prevent abuse and policy violations, to investigate incidents and enforce terms, and that we may use automated and manual safety tools to detect harmful conduct and policy violations.
Law enforcement and legal process
Our Privacy Policy states that we may share information for legal and safety purposes, including lawful requests, legal process, and protection of rights and safety, and that we process data to comply with legal obligations. We handle such matters in line with applicable law.
